If you booking through Parrish, here is description of their interiors:
Premier - The best of the best, these properties have been remodeled 80% or more within the last five years.
Deluxe - Well maintained properties that have been updated within the past ten years.
Island Casual - Although not recently updated, these unique properties provide value and comfort for your family.
We usually go for the Premier interiors since we know most of the interior has been upgraded fairly recently. We did stay at a home on Kiahuna Golf Course in June 2007 that had a "Deluxe" rating and it was very nice. We've been renting from Parrish since 2000 (my husband goes 4 times a year on business) and all of their units are in great shape. The two units at Kiahuna Plantation have a "Deluxe" rating and should be fine. I will say that hubby rented a place at Waikomo Streams from Parrish in March with a Deluxe rating and the bed messed up his back. (We gave this feedback to Parrish so that they can inform the owner).
Call Parrish and ask them about the units at Kiahuna. They'll give you a straight answer.
BTW, have you looked at Manualoha #106? It's part of Poipu Kai.
