Kalahari questions

Kalahari is looking better and better to me....

Although the Desert room is more expensive than the Hut, it looks like you gain a couch and lose the balcony. Am I correct? I don't get that one. Rather have a balcony than a couch.

When you pay the $25 for a wristband for the rides while staying, is that $25 a day or $25 once and you can use it your entire stay?

It has been a long time since we have stayed in a desert room as we have been staying in the huts/lodges for the last several years. I do not recall if there is a balcony in the desert room but there is a sofa sleeper. The desert room sleeps 6, where as the hut sleeps 4. The hut has the balcony and two queen beds. It is still a fair sized room. It is a long walk from the hut section to the water park and longer to the theme park. The $25 is for the entire stay.

I don't think the Desert rooms have balconies, but they are in the "main" building as opposed to the Sands, so a much shorter hike to the waterparks and most other activities. I personally prefer to not stay in the Sands,

Your waterpark wristband is good for the day you arrive thru the end of your departure day. I am not sure how long the indoor themepark wristbands are good -- they have had a number of different promotions with those.
