Hubby and I are planning a trip to the dells at the end of feb. Was wondering what places everyone recommends to sit back and have a cocktail, we are more of pub kinda people vs nightclub type!
Any recommendations for happy hour specials?

Check out a place called the Edge of dells. Really neat decor and we have found some could deals even on w/e.
If you like micro brews, the Dells has its own Port Huron. They brew 4 different beers, most of which are available downtown. But they do have a tasting bar at the brewery (no food other than pretzels and maybe popcorn and no other kinds of alcohol) and you can take a tour. The hours are limited so you might want to call or check the website. It's located on the east side of the Dells in the business park off Hwy 23. There are also some other micros - Sprechers and Moosejaw. Of the two you would probably prefer Sprechers. For just plain pubs/bars that serve lots of beers/hard liquor, we like the Sand Bar and Country Keg. For a little more northwoods feel we go to River Walk Pub and Rivers Edge Pub and Grub. For touristy places, you could try the Showboat and Nigs.
If you are at the Kalahari, Damon's and the bar upstairs in the indoor theme park both have good happy hours.
Giada's at Pizza Pub also has a good happy hour.

Here are a few more for you to consider - Del-Bar has happy hour from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. with discounts on wine and appetizers. House of Embers also has great happy hour specials.
