Compare Rick Wilcox and NEW show, Grand Illusions?

Has anyone seen both of these magic shows in-person? How would they compare? Will both shows be up and running over Spring Break at the end of March and through to Easter?

I was just in the Dells over the weekend. We saw the Jeremy Allens Grand Illusions show. The show was a huge disappointment and I wouldn't recommend seeing it. It was a complete waste of my money and the tickets weren't cheap. They cost 91.00 for just the two tickets. I'm actually going to file a complaint because when we went to purchase the tickets we were told some of the back, less expensive, seats were booked up for that nights show. When we were seated in the Theater, which is about the size of a small retail store, the back rows were completely empty. Save your money.

I checked out this Grand Illusions on 1/19/2013 paid $133.69 for myself and my 6 year old son and was very disappointed. It was the worst show that I have ever seen...Jeremy Allen was dressed like Elvis and just looked very weird. He messed up on some of the illusions that he was performing and children at the end of the show was talking about how he was a fake...unbelievable! The show had so more dancing and acting then actual illusions being performed. Save your money not worth it at all. Grand Illuision, should really think about lowering their price if they are going to keep running this joke of a show.

I saw The Rick Wilcox show before twice....awesome! awesome! show. I hated that they were closed on the days that I just visited the dells. :-(

Don't bother with "Grand Illusions" Jeremy Allen is the worst magician I have seen. Rick Wilcox is such a better show and in a real theater...not a strip mall. We saw Grand Illusions when it was at Chula Vista. We got our money back. It was the worst show we've seen. To top it off at that time he was doing it in a conference room and the seating was in conference chairs. Now he's moved to a strip mall in the Dells (did Chula Vista kick him out?) - can't imagine the show has improved at all. He has no stage prescence and his skill is limited at best. Many people complained when we exited the Chula Vista show. Also, note the two websites....Rick Wilcox has all his "reviews" listed on there, but Jeremy Allen has none. I put a review of his show on his website after seeing it and I went back on to read it and found they had removed the "reviews" from the website. That should tell you something. Honestly I would not waste money on Jeremy Allen's show.
