Sturgeon Bay babymoon - recommendations?

We are heading to Sturgeon Bay the weekend of November 16-18 for a last-minute getaway before our baby arrives. We are staying at Black Walnut Inn and are looking forward to the Christmas by the Bay Festival.

Any recommendations or Do-Not-Miss ideas for the weekend? Restaurants? Side trips? We will hav a car readily available and like walking (though I will be 7+ months pregnant so nothing too rigorous).

Any expert advice is welcome!

http://www.dcmm.org/ The Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay is very nice and open year round.

You can do a Door County loop drive stopping along the way at the sights to see. Peninsula State Park is a good one you can find walks of varying degrees. Whitefish Dunes State Park has some hikes or just walk along the beach. Next door is Cave Point and although you won't be climbing down there it's a pretty spot. I haven't visited these in Fall but I'm sure they're still beautiful, just a different season.

Check www.doorcounty.com for maps and places you might be interested in. It might be fun to just be spontaneous and drive and stop as you please. It's so versatile in the Door as we aren't talking huge distances between places. There's state parks, parks and many stops along the way to stop at. Even if rigorous walks aren't out you can hop out and lightly peruse each of the areas or the ones you find most appealing.

You have Potawatomi State Park right in Sturgeon Bay. You can find and enjoy that area, or branch out and explore, all depending on what you feel you're up to. Again driving can be a big part and you'll still see/enjoy things that way too.

You may want to try a prenatal massage ...

At a spa or get a mani or pedi

A favorite of mine for lunch or dinner is

Blue front cafe in downtown sturgeon bay. The meals are made fresh and are good , the desserts are fantastic ... They have a different one daily. Their cherry pie if available is delicious.

If you haven't done so already, considering hiring a local photographer in door county and get maternity photos of done of you and your spouse.

Drive up to Sister Bay, stopping at the villages along the way. Drive back via WI-57. Include a drive thru Peninsula State Park. Good places for an easy hike-Ridges Nature Sanctuary by Baileys Harbor, the Braciopod Trail in Whitefish Dunes State Park, and the Sunset Trail between Nicolet Beach and the boat launch in Peninsula State Park.
