Tickets to Packers game November 24, 2012

We have reservations at the former Cambria Suites. Looking for input on things to see and do. We do have a stadium tour booked also. No rent car--is that going to be a problem?

Any tips on what to wear (assuming it will be very cold) and we are from Texas.

Assuming that's the hotel kind of across from Favre's Steakhouse, you won't need a car but you're too far to walk to Titletown Brewpub (which is excellent).

It'll probably be somewhere in the 30's (the temp zone where many Wisconsinites break out the winter sweatshirt or a nice light jacket - Minnesotans will likely choose long sleeves at that point), there may be a light dusting of snow or a little rain, or it may be sunny. Think layers with an outer layer of water/wind resistance - avoid the color purple at all cost. If you don't pack enough, you can always walk over to the Jersey Store and stock up on Packer gear. It probably won't be "bitter" cold but you're sitting still for a long time. Good boots, warm sox and gloves/mittens are a good idea in case it's cold - try for layers that zip or button so you can open up if it's a sunny day.

If you haven't been, you'll love Lambeau, the tour is a great idea. Don't forget to make time to experience the tailgaiting before you go in to the game.

hopefully 2013 ;-)

Layers of clothing are great for starters, a good winter jacket, something for your head for sure. I'm sure die hard fans who attend will chime in.

Titletown Brewing is good if you can get over there. The National Railroad Museum is interesting if you're into that sort of thing.

No rental car, no problem. There is lots of great places to eat on Oneida St. and also on Holmgren Way. Another option if you need more clothes, just go shopping at Bay Park Square mall. It's a little further South and it sits between Oneida and Holmgren. Lots of stores!

Thanks for the information. I can always buy warmer clothes--double as souvenir.

Tasty places to eat include Smart Cow(frozen yogurt), Cheesecake Heaven(sandwiches, salads, deserts), Buffalo Wild Wings(you know, wings lol). There is alos tons of other places to eat, those are just a few of my favorites! You should be able to read any reviews on here for the places I mentioned.

Just let us know if you would like more tips!
