First Trip

Ok TA pros - the wife and I are taking our parents (6 adults) to the Greenbrier this weekend (Fri-Sun) and looking for some suggestions, recomendations.

We'll all be arriving at different times Friday evening and have no real plans other than possibly grabbing some drinks at one of the more casual lounges/bars. What would you recommend?

Saturday early morning golf then meeting somewhere for lunch.

We have dinner reservations Sat at Sam Sneads (7:45) but outside of that we're lost as to what to do. We're not really into the gambling scene - nor do we feel like wearing suit coats/evening attire. We're looking for a relaxing weekend but from some of these reviews we might have been better off else where.

Any thoughts/tips are more than welcome - HELP!

Go to the Grandview Overlook & Sandstone Falls near Hinton. It's right off I-64 & well worth the trip!

Might want to check out the Lost World Caverns in Lewisburg, just down the road.

Explore downtown Lewisburg as well. Many good resturants for lunch. Even if you are not a "shopper" there is something for everyone. It was voted Americas Coolest Small Town a year or two ago. Unique shops, art galleries, antiques....etc.

Doing both of those would take up all Saturday afternoon.
