I've been eagerly waiting the opening of table games at Charles Town Races and Slots. I keep hearing Summer 2010, but does anyone have a specific date on when they expect to be open?

I was there last night and was told by the players club rep that the tables would be open in June, however the recent newspaper article said July.
The construction looks complete, it's just blocked off with black walls until the opening.
I suspect the reason we do not have a firm date is that they probably have to have final construction inspections or permits and receive the all clear before they can announce a date to the public.
A lot of people were asking about it yesterday and they were very vague.
Actually CT cannot get their gambling license until July 1. Without the license they cannot have any gambling tables installed. Literally CT will hand over the money (I think 1.5M) at 12:01am get their license and start putting in the tables. They will make sure they are open by July 4th weekend.
Thanks for the update.
I was there 2 weeks ago and they have the table areas all cleared of slot machines and it looks like they are ready to plunk them down the second they can.
I can't wait to go.
I can't wait either and I still will have a 3 hours drive. Better than AC.
The Washington Post is reporting the new facility will be opening on July 2, 2010. I went past there this past weekend (today is Monday, June 21, 2010) the signage has come down and it's no longer the Charles Town Races and Slots it will be the Hollywood Casino at the Charles Town Races.
TV 3 Winchester did a story on the people who had to go to class to learn how to work in the casino. One guy was an engineer but with the economy he is now learning how to run a craps game.
