I notice that all the reviews for places to stay in the Charles Town area are outdated. We are going to be traveling between Williamsburg and Pittsburgh next week. We would like to spend some time at the casino on Friday and meet friends in Berkley Springs the next day. Any suggestions on a good place to stay along the way. Luxury isn't important...clean and safe are. Thanks in advance.
try the holiday inn on Flowing Springs road,farily new maybe 5 years old and just 5 minutes from the casino.I live only 15 minutes from the casino,but if I wanted a room for the night this would certainly be the place.
oops..it's so new I forgot...The Charles Town Inn,about a year old,sits right on the backstretch of the racetrack,shuttle to the casino,can't beat that....ctownraces.com
