Spokane shopping

Please advise the biggest and best stocked supermarkets in Spokane to stock up on food before driving to Glacier NP.

What are their opening hours?

Where can we buy a two burner gas stove and fuel canisters to go with it?

Thank you

Okay here's what I would do, Winco foods is on E. Sprague in the Spokane Valley they would have all the food items you'd need, now close by in the same area is Lowes which would have your gas burners and all the rest. Across from Lowes is the Home Depot same thing they are all on Sprague and that's on your way east out of town you can easily hop the freeway after your purchases, people in the store will give you good instructions.

www.lowes.com

Just bare in mind you're looking for Spokane Valley as there are other of those business elsewhere. Oh yes there's a new Walmart there now too.

If you'd like any more info please feel free to ask.

Winco is good and Cheap, but you could try Fred Meyer, Albertsons, Yokes, or Safeway. Fred Meyer I think is the one to go to.

llashramilor, the OP posted the question in February last year but maybe someone that's looking for a market in the future will see your post.

I've made that mistake in the past too, not looking at the dates, it happens.

There is really no advantage to buying in Spokane as opposed to Kalispel, which is 20 miles outside Glacier national Park. Most of the same stores are available, lees concern over keeping items cold or well packed until you arrive and sales tax is a non-issue on food either way. Camping gear (like the stoves) are available in Kalispel and on those items there is no sales tax in Montana, where there is in Spokane.
