What to do in rain next week in Birch Bay area?

We are going to be at a Birch Bay timeshare for a week starting this Sun., Sept 29th. I had planned an itinerary for a week of the best outdoor hikes and scenic drives in the area. Given prediction of rain for most of the week - any suggestion of indoor activities? Museums, aquariums?

Would a trip to Seattle on the Amtrak be worth it if rainy?

Vancouver for the day? Can we park somewhere and take a subway or train into the city?

Thanks - we have had a wet week in Vancouver Island this week. Wed and Thur was sunny and so awesome when the weather is nice. Back to rain for the rest of our week here and another crossing on the ferry in the rain on Sunday - what a bummer since our crossing last sunday was also in the rain. Bet you it sure is beautiful when the weather is clear and sunny. Ah well, excuse to come back one day - but a long ways from the East coast.

Just go and do anything you had on your plans :) We do not let any level of rain stop us. Ever.

Absolutely take Amtrak into Seattle for the day. It's a nice ride and there is plenty to do.

As you have probably figured out, rain hardly stops us, and our weather can be somewhat unpredictable. Even if they are predicting rain, a few "sun breaks" completely turns the day around.
