Do you have 11 nights to do this journey?
Bellingham > Banff > Victoria > San Juan > Seattle/Bellingham
would be about the same driving times as
Lincoln > Memphis > Minneapolis > Watertown SD > Lincoln
Then you would probably want to stay in the locations and experience them. Your 11 nights would evaporate in driving. So you do need to pare down. Maybe leave off Banff.
Arrive Bellingham before noon
Leave right away north to Canada and west to Victoria (about 4.5 hours, including an hour wait for the ferry. But there can be additional border crossing delays of up to 3 hours to be prepared for.)
3 nights Victoria
WA State ferry to Friday Harbour
3 nights in the Islands
WA State ferry to Seattle
3 nights Seattle
1 night might be needed in Bellingham before flight out, or not depending if you can get an evening flight out.

On the other hand, if the Rockies matter more than anything, you could fly into Calgary and make a very nice loop out of Calgary for 11 nights. But that itinerary question is for the Canadian Rockies Forum.
