I had heard about the warm mineral springs called Jefferson Baths that had been in use since the early 1700s and finally drove down to see and experience them one cold 30 degree Saturday. It was well worth the time! Rustic, but serene, the 6' 8" deep crystal clean pool was relaxing. There are signs advising you to whisper if you must talk, but everyone there was more into relaxing than talking anyway. After 2-1/2 hours soaking, it was hard to leave the warm waters...and getting dressed in the unheated changing rooms ensures your don't dilly-dally! Lol
Try it. You'll like it.
