Quality Inn Oceanfront vs. Best Western Sandcastle

Trying to decide between Quality Inn Oceanfront or Best Western Sandcastle. Which would you choose?

Everything is about the same - price, amenities, etc.

We will have a car. Is one in a better area?

Thanks

You can easily do without a car when you stay in the Boardwalk area. If you tire of walking on Atlantic Ave or the Boardwalk you can always take the Wave bus.

Both those hotels have places to eat and pick up souvenirs and beach sundries nearby. I think both have a fridge and microwave. Quality Inn is across the street from David's where you can get things like milk and ice cream.

Quality Inn has the outdoor pool. Sandcastle's is indoors but with a nice enclosure exposing it to the outdoors.

At the Quality Inn you're near the 7th St. stage and the entertainment there...it's a small stage.

At Sandcastle you're near the retro amusement park and the Pier.

Do you want to throw Capes Hotel in the mix? They have great value days all through the summer:

If you're interested in the nightly entertainment, Sandcastle puts you closer to the various stages whereas Quality Inn is at the last stage (or first, depending on how you look at it).
