Thanks, that's where I'm staying. Is there a marble house somewhere near Staunton? I may be thinking of another area.

Your questions are so vague they're difficult to answer. There are a few but you may be thinking about Swannanoa Palace on Afton Mt. As far as I know it is closed to the public and will probably never re-open under the current owner.
