so I spoke with Ademir the hotel manager and he has assured me that he has placed me on the 2nd floor (as all of you veterans have suggested) and my a/c is in working order as he put me in the newer block which is block 24 which he assured me is very close to the beach - i asked for block 17 and 18 as some of you suggested but this is where we are....
anyone know anything about block 24?

I've requested 17 or 24, top floor as well. Ademir told me in an email those 2 buildings are the best locations on the resort. I'm sure you'll be fine in either one.
hi... I stayed in block 24, first floor (2404). It was very good and close to the beach. The A/C was working very well
when you say newer part of the resort, I thought all the resort was new? wasn't it just built last year?
Ya it opened last year but in varying stages so some rooms are NEWER than others but not by much. The last ones to open probably were'nt rushed as much .

I just received my email from Ademir. We are staying in block 17 2nd floor with king size bed. He told me the view was better in this block. I had asked for block 18 so I'm happy. It looks like a good location on the resort map. Does any one know when the buffet opens for dinner? I'm going to start feeding the kids a little later this week.
I got my email too, block 19 for us...it looks like its further away from the beach but we got our 4 rooms together....8 sleeps till we leave!!!
We're also in block 19 2nd floor, I hope the view is good!
We are 2nd floor too, I will probably see you there!!! I think there is around 8 rooms on each floor in the bigger buildings, looks nice!!!

Admeir put us in building 24! second floor as we requested! He said it has a great view, "trust me this option is even better than 17" I lost my map so I am not to sure where its located on the resort!
I guess we'll find out on Saturday!!!!!
Yes 24 is the closest to the beach and right across from one of the beach restaurant. Looks like good spot. Both 17 and 24 look to be further away from buffet and entertainment which will be nice and quiet. Looks like block 24,17,16 are the big blocks that face the ocean. And 19 - 24 look on to the laguna. Block 19 is nice and close to the pool and buffet. Lots of good spots by the look of things.
