Changing Money

Hi, can anyone advise me whats the best way of changing money over here?

I used to take travellers cheques but have been told nobody likes them and its a hassle to change them in banks or hotels?

Is it better just to use ATM's and to take some euros with us?

BTW are there plenty of ATM's in Jesolo?

Any advice appreciated, thanks,

Do not take travellers' cheques. They will not be accepted at any hotel, restaurant, or shop. You may get a bank to change them, but the fees are such that your €100 cheque may get you €85 cash.

Get around €100 in small notes before you leave UK, so you do not have to look for an ATM as soon as you get to Italy. After that, just use a debit card to get money out of ATMs.

There are ATMs in every town in Italy, just as there are in UK.
