Just realised that we hadn't done this for this year. Maybe useful for people heading here. The weather can be unpredictable, weather forecasts for June until October tend to hedge their bets with a graphic consisting of a sun / cloud / rain and thunderstorm icons all combined - which isn't really much help.
So ti kick things of, it has been rather nice for the past week. Only a few light showers, plenty of cloud but also enough sunshine to ensure anyone who wanted to get burned has been able to. And although the sea was rough it has now calmed down considerably.
Take care of the rip currents, especially on White Sand beach, since late April 7 people have drowned off Koh Chang, most on White Sands. (Last one was a Norwegian guy two days ago.)
