Hi:

I understand that Hwy 13 is a toll road, $12 each way.... so, I have this very ignorant question: do the toll booth accept any major credit cards or do they only accept cash? If cash only, does it have to be exact change? Thanks for any reply.

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (www.cbbt.com), toll does not have to be exact change and I don't know if they accept plastic or not, web site may help. Enjoy your 20 mile drive across and if time, stop at the Sea Gull Fishing Pier/Restaurant on the last island from your direction, nice views, food and drinks.

I am sure that you will enjoy the drive on the Delmarva Peninsula. It is such an easier drive that I-64 and I95!

Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel is Cash only (or ez-pass) - no credit cards. It does not need to be exact change. And definately stop at the pier/gift shop, it is worth stopping for. When you pay the toll you also get a coupon for a free soft drink or coffee at the gift shop.
