Thinking of staying and driving to Greenbrier Golf Classic

What type of a ride from hotel to WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS West Virginia. Is it highway driving and will traffic be heavy driving up to the golf classic , late July.

It is highway the whole way, and it's absolutely beautiful. I've driven that road several times and have never been in heavy traffic ever. It's really quite pleasant.
