cheap places to eat at Killington or close by

I hear the food is expensive at Killington ski resort- Is there anywhere close by to grab a sandwich close to the resort?

Thanks

Yes and no. Depends what you mean exactly. Are you thinking of stopping midway through a ski day and grabbing somewhere off the mountain?

It is expensive there. Pick up a sandwich at Phat Italian deli or The Killington Market on your way up to the mountain. If you want to drive back down the road, there are a good number of restaurants within 2 miles.

When you say "noon" do you mean during the middle of a ski day? Most people don't take off their skis and get in a car and drive to lunch. You can either bring your lunch (make your own or from one of the places mentioned above), or eat at one of the lodges.

Cheaper dinner places: Wallys, Lookout, Moguls, Outback Pizza, iPie Pizza. If you're in a condo, the best solution is to make your own, if you are on the tightest budget.
