Looking for a Sunday restaurant recommendation

Adult party of 8

In town on Sunday, December 23rd.

6 of us ( three couples, one has 18 mo. old infant) traveling to St. George from different directions to take elderly grand-parents parents to dinner. Staying overnight and leaving next morning. We realize many establishments may close on Sunday. Something low key and relatively reasonable. Something in town. We don't want to drive to Mesquite. Any ideas??

Can you give a little more info about a specific budget you may have and what type of food you are looking for?

And, what time of day will this be? as that will make a difference likely as well since you are right alot of places are either not open on Sunday, or would be closing early.

If you also need help finding somewhere to stay in the area, you can ask about that here as well, be sure to include a budget and how many rooms, ect.

In general, the Black Bear Cafe is open till 10pm on Sundays and is a nice basic place to eat with good food. Applebees is also open till 10pm

Just be aware, the Painted Pony while a nicer option for dinner is only open between 4- 9pm Utah time on Sundays

Thanks for the good reply. We are looking at late-afternoon early evening. Yes Applebees or something like that (informal family type) was what we had in mind. Thanks again. -dr

We have a lot of the usual chains, open on Sundays: Red Robin, Outback Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Chili's, Red Lobster, Cafe Rio, Buca di Beppo (new to us), SmashBurger, Black Bear Diner, Cracker Barrel.

I'm sure there are more.

Enjoy.
