Ski pass / Xmas day advice please

Hello,

There's a group of 10 of us going to Park City this Xmas and we'd like to try out a few of the resorts. Is it best to buy a 9 day lift pass or get them individually? What is the most cost effective way of doing it?

Also we're staying in a budget hotel and would like to go for dinner on Xmas day somewhere decent. Please can anyone recommend a good place?

Thanks in advance, Alex :)

If you're looking to go to multiple resorts, you will need to purchase those tickets individually. There isn't a multi-resort ticket (yet). There are three resorts in Park City - Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort and Canyons. Each sell tickets individually. Liftopia.com may be a source for some of the resorts, but not all. Also given that you're visiting at peak time periods, it's not likely you will find any special deals. If you were staying at one resort, you would have more discount options. In fact, your cheapest move would be to purchase an Epic Season Pass and ski just at Canyons.

It's a bit early to scout this now, but you should be able to do so in a few months.

Good luck.

Thank you for the advice. Any suggestions on a bar / restaurant for Xmas day?

Where are you planning to stay? On Main Street we like Riverhorse, Zoom, 350 Main. For a really nice splurge look at Stein Eriksen Lodge. If you're at Canyons Resort, try The Farm.

Have fun.

There is a 3 Resort International Pass for Canyons, PCMR and Deer Valley available for overseas visitors. Details can be found at visitparkcity.com

I hate to put a damper on your Park City Vacation, but I would not buy any PCMR tickets or pass in advance. Their is a lawsuit involving PCMR and the Canyons. If PCMR loses they are saying they will remove the lifts (I don't think they can, but they are making noise). A hearing is set for next month, not sure when the trial date is. The Canyons has submitted an Order for the Judges signature to evict PCMR.

As far as Buying in Advance for Deer Valley over Christmas Holiday, I would do that, they limit lift tickets sales.
