Are there Atv dirt bike or any type of outdoor exciting activities in the area?

There is the West Texas Motocross park nearby and about 30 miles west are the Monohans Sandhills where dune buggies are available.

I don't know much about either place beyond knowing they exist.

ATV or dirt bike at Outback Adventure track, near Big Spring (30 mins east of Midland). You can also ride at Kermit Sandhills NE of Kermit -- but you cannot ride ATVs or motorized vehicles on the dunes in Monahans. For my most recent info on Kermit Sandhills, Google "Kermit sandhills" and look for the sabkha.blogspot.com post.
