1/ Weather normally around 25c in the day could be cooler or warmer will be cooler at night so bring something for evenings . You could get the odd shower but normally dries up fast . 2/ Marbella golf bungalows are a little out on a limb there from the center of PDI and down a long driveway - you would need to catch a taxi to the beach from there. 3/ There is no boxing day in Spain - so everything will be open. Spanish Christmas carries on until January 6th. 4/ There's a big water park, Aqualand, about 7 minutes away by taxi 5/ Holiday World is an amusement park about 5 mins away. 6/ There are jeep safaris into the mountains (the centre of the island is spectacular) 7/ There are boat trips from Puerto de Mogán and Puerto Rico 8/ Las Palmas is a big city - about the size of Manchester - with a fantastic beach and big stores 9/ Maspalomas beach is huge, and nearer to you than Playa del Inglés beach: but if you want banana boat rides etc. you'll need to go to Playa. 10/ There's a branch of the Hard Rock Café under the Buenos Aires apartment hotel in Playa del Inglés 11/ You either love or hate the Yumbo Centre at night, with its drag and karaoke bars. It's popular with gay people as well as with families. There are amusement arcades there, with big video games and internet terminals rather than slot machines. Places like QE2 bar and Rickys bar are hosted by drag queens but popular with families. 12/ Videogaming is hugely popular in Spain, and places like the Atlantico shopping centre in Vecindario (which you can get a bus to from Playa - about 30 mins) is good place to buy games, along with all the other things you'd find in a big shopping mall. Clothes tend to be cheaper here than in the UK Hope this helps

You really are an expert, well there seems to be enough going on, perhaps I should have booked 3 wks to see it all. Can't wait to go to Yumba centre it seems to cater for all. Looking forward to the drag acts there so much fun as I have a few gay friends that won't bother me either. I think my kids will be begging to go back it beats sitting at home with drab weather. Thanks for replying you really put my mind at rest (only 8wks to go)
