Siroco Hotel

Anyone know how many you can get in a room at the Siroco?

Thought it was 2 doble beds in the rooms but cant find any booking sites online that lets you have 2 adults and 2 kids??

If you go to a sight like Alpharooms.com and put the adults and children in the search engine will give you all room options.

we have family staying there in July 2013. Any nice apartments close by, or within 5 mins walking distance?

Cheers

Consider Alay Apartments, Doramar Apts are str8 oppoaite Siroco but do attract stag/hen parties. Try The Jolly Pirate again opposite Sirocco holidaylettings.co.uk/rentals/…110704

Cheers for all the info.

How far a walk from the Siroco to the Minerva/Jupiter?

A little over your 5 mins but no more than 10.

I would avoid Jupiter/Minerva. Prison like apartments with expensive supermarkets nearby and a good uphill hike. Worth paying the extra for half board somewhere near the prom. Triton or Siroco are good.

Have to disagree to some extent with the previous post. The apartments in Jupiter/Minerva area are what they are, and some are like brand new inside, who cares what they look like outside. The pool areas also are fantastic, probably the best in the area.

The hill is steep yes, but you're up it in no time, so unless you're over weight, unwell or elderly then you should have no problem with it.

Finally the supermarkets: Sure, their are a couple of expensive "on site" supermarkets there (but there usually are in or very close to complexes - that's par for the course in any resort in Spain) however, venture just 5 mins away and you will find Mas which is a bit cheaper with more of a selection (opposite Bonanza Square) and a bit further in the other direction (10 mins stroll) is Mercadona - the cheapest of them all with an excellent selection of produce.

So don't dismiss these apartment entirely.

We have stayed in Jupiter twice now, one grotty apartment and one very nice, well maintained and furnished one. Some will need refurbishing as they were build in th 70`s but a lot of owners have done this already and they were being rewired this year so I suppose this may have spurred some owners to redecorate at least.

Dont dimiss.
