Advice on 2 hotel options in Fort Worth -

We arrive at DFW at 3.45pm on Tuesday September 4th 2012 on vacation from the UK.

We are staying 1 night in Fort Worth and picking up a car on Wed. 5th Sept at Avis on 801,W Weatherford Street to go touring in Texas.

We thought of staying at Towne Place Suites at 805,East Belknap Street or Hyatt Place at the Stockyards.

Towne Place Suites seems better located for picking up the car. However,Hyatt Place also seems a nice hotel and is quite a bit cheaper.

I appreciate that any saving we make on the hotel may be lost in getting to the hotel, but the thoughts of local forum members would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much for your help and advice.

Either hotel is in a good location but for one night I lean toward the Hyatt and the Stockyards. FW is not that big so getting to the car rental by cab would be easy.
