Paris Forum: Paris Landing State Park

We drove to Paris,Tn., from Clarksville, Tn., this past week end, and I would not recomend, any of there accomadations, what so ever.

They told us when we checked in, we would be paying $85.69, for the one night, which was, this last Friday. Upon hassling about a Sr. Discount, we were given a SMALL room,for $77.11. We ate in their dining room, and it left much to be desired. The food was barely warm. They charge you , just for a salad or bowl of soup, the same price as the whole bar,

itself. We tried to buy, just the salad, and it was $6.95, the same price as the whole bar. On checking, on my computer, just now, they have a very misleading ad, which says, they only charge $66.00.

I would like to tell you , it is not even worth that amount. The pop machine, banged all night, right outside our door, as the cans dropped into the metal tray, and found it very annoying, and I told them so, in a message, we left, for the cleaning crew. THIS MACHINE

SHOULD BE PLACED IN THE LOBBY, AS IT WAS MOSTLY EMPLOYEES, AND WORKERS THERE, THAT USED IT, SO WHY SHOULD A PAYING CUSTOMER HAVE TO PUT UP WITH ALL THIS RACKET, ALL NIGHT LONG, AND ALL THROUGH THE DAY.

I and my husband were celebrating his 88th Birthday, and what a big dissapointment, they left us with. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.
