Nashville on Christmas Day

Hello, I will be in Nashville for Christmas Day and was wondering if there is anything to see and do that day...also any suggestions for restaurants are welcome as well.

Thanks,

Since Nashville is a prime tourist destination, including Christmas and New Years, you should find most of the downtown bars open. Some of the smaller locally owned restaurants will most likely be closed, so you may have to eat at a "chain" that day. One locl place that I know will be open in Fleet Street Pub. It's an English pub in Printers Alley that serves up some really good fare at great prices.

The restaurants at Opryland Hotel will be open and usually require reservations. That may be your best bet for your main meal. Enjoy Nashville.

All of the big hotel restaurants should be open. This includes some very fine to very good choices: Capitol Grille in Hermitage Hotel; The Palm in the Hilton downtown; 1808 Grille in The Hutton Hotel; Mason's in the Loewe's. You can also take a look at Open Table to see who is taking reservations that day. This includes some good restaurants in Franklin. Also, look at the Nashville Originals web site.
