Ft. Lauderdale Airport to Sunny Isle

How much would a taxi cost to get from Ft. Lauderdale to New Port Beach Resort?

And can anyone tell me if this resort is completely refurbished?

Also is the pier open again?

Thank you. Headed this way for the Oct. 14 Dolphin game.

The cost of the taxi will vary based on two things, traffic and the route taken by the cabbie. If he goes on 95 wich is the standard route, it will be around $45.00 . If you tell him to take Route 1 to Sheridon St. it will be less by at least $10.00.

Don't know about Newport refurbishment, but there are better hotel options.

The pier will not be open until December at best.

Enjoy!

A shuttle may be cheaper. The Newport is mostly new but the original is still in use - may well depend on which one you are in. It's nice but can be busy.

Ask the driver to take US1, not I-95 which will save at least 6-7 miles.

We visit yearly, the best and least expensive route is via A1A. The taxi driver may have to use his knowledge of the area due to airport construction that may leave some routes out of the airport closed off for a while.
