The list is endless - you're in the greater Miami and Miami Beach area - nearby for breakfast & lunch - 10 minute drive.

North on A1A (Collins)

For dinner - 10 minute drive North on A1A (Collins) becomes Ocean Dr.

Giorgios Bakery located in Hollywood is a nice place for breakfast.. There are bunch of restaurants in Hollywood beach but I suggest you to go South to Miami Beach just 15-20min drive. http://miamirealestateinc.com

There is an excellent restaurant in walking distance from your hotel (or if you prefer to drive, there is parking there):

Timo Restaurant, on Collins Ave around 176 St.

If you want to push the boat out Il Mulino in Acqualina - 305 in the Newport has a great deal on Lobsters on a weds - you may well need to book - there's Chef Allens close by too - Georgios on the water in Lauderdale is great (not the one mentioned above) - then there's plenty of others to try within walking distance from Marenas - You most certainly DO NOT need to go to South Beach to get a decent meal - there's plenty to try in Sunny Isles and area - I hope that you have a great time .

Strike Chef Allen's off the above suggested list; it's been closed for over a year.

But if you want to drive to Aventura & are looking for a really good upscale (albeit pricey) restaurant, Bourbon Steak would be worth the short drive. (It's located in the Turnberry Isle resort, near the Aventura Mall. There is free valet parking at the resort for the restaurant; just remember to get your parking ticket validated by the restaurant.)

Just google Bourbon Steak Miami for more info.
