Advice on site for deals

Vacations made easy-site I've seen combining hotel for 4 nights and Graceland/Sun tour tickets. Anyone ever used this site? We're in Canada, want to surprise hubby with a trip here mid March. Any advice greatly appreciated. Flying down, don't want to rent a car. Thanks.

1. Re: Advice on site for deals

Most folks visiting Memphis put together their own trip. Perhaps someone will chime in with info on that site.

If you won't have a car, I suggest you stay downtown if possible, where you can walk or take the trolley to many attractions, restaurants, etc. There is a free shuttle from downtown to Graceland to Sun, but you must take the studio tour to use it,

You could stay at the Days Inn or Heartbreak Hotel near Graceland, but remember that there aren't any other tourist attractions in that area and dining options are limited. HH does offer a shuttle to downtown for its guest for a nominal fee.

I don't know what kind of ticket package you're seeing on that site, but below are links for discounts on Graceland and Sun. For the Sun coupon, click on the "deals" on the page.

Thank you for the info. I will check out the links you provided. I do hope someone can give me some more info on this other site. First time in Memphis. Have been to Nashville many times, but hubby would love to see Graceland. Thanks again.

A quick google search showed up lots of complaints with this outfit. Here are two, but there are lots more if you search. I'd definitely stear clear of them. I also think that if they were reputable, at least one of us - and Deb for sure - would be familiar with them. And by the way, I realize most of these complaints aren't specifically for Memphis, but their national reputation seems to suck!

Thank you for this link and info. I was skeptical and that's why I came here which I find more secure site. Again thank you and will avoid.

Question Deb. Is the Edison Hotel good to stay at? Still looking at something economical of course and eateries within reasonable distance.

I'm not familiar with an Edison Hotel here in Memphis. There is an Edison apartment building. Do you mean the Madison Hotel? Check the name again and let me know.
