places to go for a weekend away from Sioux Falls

I am looking for a place not too far from Sioux Falls (2-3 hour radius) to which I can send my parents for their 65th anniversary. Looked at Lake Okoboji but the prices of hotels are $170 or more. I might be able to do a night for them but not sure if I have other options. Am thinking Lake Okoboji, dinner at Minerva's and back after a night at this point but it does get kind of pricey. Minnesota??? They have done Cedar Shore in Chamberlain before so I need another idea.

Grand Falls casino near larchwood IA? Only like 15 minute away but they have nice restaurants, nice rooms, a spa, and there is a fun winery about 20 minutes away from there.

A few ideas:

*Send them to DeSmet. They could stay at the Prairie Manor B and B and tour the historical sites.

*Buffalo Ridge Resort in Gary, SD. Dinner in the Rock Room and a whirlpool suite.

*If they could handle a four hour drive, Lanesboro, MN is the perfect getaway for couples. Lots of B and Bs, shops, a professional theater company with weekend performances, they could stroll on the bike path and the scenery is beautiful with wooded hills and bluffs. It would be straight east on I-90 and south a bit.
