Hello, well, I'm still here and have a few more days left but figured I needed to post already it has been that good. I am a big west coast of Florida vacation person and for some reason in my mind I had something against the east coast of the Carolinas even though I have never been there. A couple of years ago I had to go to the outer banks for a wedding, and while it was nasty and cloudy and raining 100% of the time I did think the east coast had potential. Low and behold I had a good deal pop up for after Labor Day and I jumped on it.
I admit I hate saying this as I am such a stubborn believer in the Florida west coast from Dunedin/Clearwater Beach all the way down to Sarasota, but I really just wanted to say after 4 days I like Myrtle Beach better. A lot of it is probably because the crowds are gone, but the weather and activities have been terrific! So much to do and I didn't realize it was that beautiful here.
The tiniest of tiny complaints is that of course you cannot snorkel like in the Keys or different islands in the Caribbean, but still this boogie boarding thing is kind of interesting, plus as I mentioned above there are just so many other activities and things to do I am not even going to list them all, so you WILL keep busy and have fun!
The last one is not a complaint, but I am more looking for some suggestions. I got pizza from Ultimate California Pizza and honestly it was kind of sucky. I know there are some good places here so does anyone have any suggestions???
Other than that I got some GoPro video of the first half of my trip, oh and there will be more! Hopefully this will help some other MB lovers get their fix when they are unable to visit! I know I am a lover now and I'll try to do a more detailed update of my trip later when it is over (with more video of course, lol). Enjoy!
