Don't get me wrong, we plan to have shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, and the other high carb, high calorie dishes Charleston is known for. But...I'm a woman of a certain age, and I can't eat like this at every meal.
I realize that I can order a salad and appetizer anywhere, but I'm curious to know if there are any restaurants that specialize in healthier options. I remember seeing a review on a place whose specialty is a tea sweetened with fruit but I didn't write down the name of the place. If anyone knows the name of this restaurant or any others that are similar, please respond. Thanks.
