On a side note - locals - did we not have the most awesome sunset tonight? The pink and lavendar clouds with the lightning bursting through them were northwest of the actual sunset. Though we had cats-and-dogs-type rain for a good 70 minutes, (we needed it), it did give a great light show over the ocean.

Out of Kiawan we had the awesome sunset (I took lots of photos that may apprear on TA); but we missed the rain. Strangest climate here ... wait 5 minutes ... move 5 miles ... the weather is completely different.

Great honor! We always make sure we take guests, who are in town with us, down to the Waterfront Park.

My elderly mother who doesn't walk much anymore, enjoys just sitting on one of the benches to watch other people, boats, birds, etc.
