We are planning to travel in November and stay a night in Hershey. Would you recommend paying the extra $ for the Hershey hotel? Are there different activities or is it just room size and decor? We have 2 kids, ages 3 and 6. TY.
With kids, I'd opt for the Lodge. It's more kid friendly.
Agreed ...
Hotel Hershey = More oriented toward couples (spa, dining, etc.)
Hershey Lodge = More oriented toward families
We had a saying when I worked at the Hotel Hershey...it was for the Newly Wed....and Nearly Dead....
Granted, they have infused a ton of money into the place since then, and it is an impressive place, the amenities far exceed the rooms though.
