Honeymoon in mid November

Suggestions for things to do? What to bring? What to wear? Mid to low budget. We are flying in from Baton Rouge, LA and staying on the beach in a lil cottage!

Thanks so much!

November will be chilly and breezy at the coast -- but we love to stay there when winter storms are blowing. Lots of big wave action can be amazing to watch. If your cottage has a fireplace and you can watch the ocean from your living room, I can't think of a more romantic way to spend a honeymoon (enjoy some of our wonderful Oregon wines while wave-watching!). Bring a fleece jacket or sweatshirt, windbreaker, etc. -- dress in layers as the temps and wind can change in an instant. We've learned to be prepared for almost anything.

You've chosen a great spot for starting married life. There are lots of good restaurants at the Oregon Coast -- but you might also enjoy getting some clam chowder to take back to your cottage to enjoy by the fire.

I've lived on the Oregon coast for over 20 years and will just about guarantee that the weather in mid-November will be fairly cold (especially if you're used to southern heat) and it will probably be raining. Or possibly snowing although that's not too likely.

Bring something waterproof to wear and waterproof footwear as well :-)
