good restaurant for meal on Easter Sunday

Hi, we just booked a room for next Saturday - last minute getaway.

Can anyone recommend options for a good meal (brunch/lunch/late lunch timing all okay) on Easter Sunday before we head back home?

I know some places might be closed, others might only have a big buffet going on, others might already be filled with reservations.

The type of food/meal doesn't really matter to us - it doesn't need to be traditional Easter dinner fare for sure.

Thanks for any thoughts.

I'd suggest Wildflower Cafe. It's pretty popular, especially for breakfast, so you might want to call to see if they take reservations.

We are going to Salty's on the Columbia.

Although "Sold Out" it doesn't hurt to call to see if there are any cancellations at many restaurants. Sometimes you call at just the right moment.

What price range area you looking for? Any kind of special food you like?

We sometimes go to the Riverview in Troutdale, it's facing the banks of the Sandy river.

Where are you staying?

OOPS just saw you are in Lincoln City. You can still try calling around there.

Blackfish Cafe is always quite good, and our usual lunch stop before heading back to Dallas from a weekend at the coast. If you want more upscale, you might check to see if the Bay House is doing anything special for Easter. The "new improved" buffet at Spirit Mountain in Grand Ronde (if heading back to Portland via Hwy 18 and 99W) is actually pretty good for a casino buffet, but probably will be fairly busy on Easter Sunday. Nothing says Easter more than a meat at a casino!! (Tongue very firmly in cheek)
