Did you stay at Casa Sol or anywhere else in Yelapa? We are looking for a place to stay for 1 night in March.

Thanks,

If you want to get a look at Casa del Sol, log onto palapainyelapa.com and click on Casa del Sol on the right side. Brad is the owner/moderator of the website and his in-laws own the Casa. I had tried to rent it (back in August) for mid-January, but it was booked up until March 2006!! It can sleep 8 and is on the beach and near the town. Has a dynamite view of the river, beach and bay, 200 ft. from the beach restaurants. Probably one of the most expensive rentals in Yelapa, but worth it for a group or large family. ($150.US/night)

Phen and yelapaisparadise:

In Sept. we spent 1 night in Casa Sol in Yelapa . It was an experience! Had to wade the river (up to our knees) to get to the vendors for food - my husband lost one shoe in the river so had to walk back barefoot. The casa was just being opened for the "season" so wasn't exactly the Hilton. It still needed a lot of cleaning. Bought pies from the pie lady -

they weren't that good, save your money.

Had an electrical storm the night we were there, it was awesome. The view was great from the casa. Be sure to take your own water, even for brushing teeth. We had our own granola bars for breakfast - that was the extent of our cooking.

If the kitchen and bath were cleaned thoroughly we would have been more comfortable with the place. Since we are accustomed to camping out, Casa Sol wasn't bad. The swinging beds were fun, bedding was fresh, floors were clean.

We even had a dog walk in (one entry doesn't have a door on it), spend the night (on the white couch!) and walk us to the pier the

next a.m.! Would we do it again? You bet!!
