Whilst at Alton Towers in july I bought one of the new waterproof USB wristbands for the 2 day visit. After riding Air, I tried to purchase my picture and when I had paid the woman behind the counter told me that the "system had crashed" so it took around 5 minutes for it to reboot, she then assured me my picture was on the wristband. When I got home, I was disappointed to find that my picture was not on there and I had not kept the reciept either, but I thought to send them an email anyway. Low and behind, I recieved an email back explaining that they would refund me, all I had to do was send them my address, so I did this and a couple of days later I recived an envelope in the post. To my complete surprise they had sent me a letter explaining that the company that deals with pictures (Picsolve) strives on keeping the customer happy. Also enclosed was a COMPLETE refund (£15, £10 for the wristband and £5 for the picture) and had also sent me a photopass which I could exchange for 5 free pictures, magnets or keyrings on any of the rides in the parks!
I just thought I would let everybody know that their customer service is excellent and I would have been happy with just a £5 refund for the picture! Brilliant little compensation. (:
