What £$€ to take?

Hi All,

Whats the best currency to take from a UK point of view?

We will be using the collectivo & Taxis plus shopping - Lapis here we come! The trips if we do any will be paid for on the Crefit Card and we'll be tipping.

So whats best Dollars, Pesos?

We'll be paying in Pesos for the exit tax as we get a better exchange rate.

Pesos, it is the currency of Mexico. You will get better pricing if you pay in the local currency. No need to change your money to USD and then again to Pesos, you will lose out twice in the conversion.

If you have USD laying around from a previous trip to the US, they are widely accepted but certainly do not specifically get USD to travel to Mexico.

Most exchange for pesos at home using ICE or another Currency online shop

Bring in pesos what you think you will spend
