I haven't been to the Crab Pot for some time and wanted to see if it had improved but I just couldn't talk my husband into it.
Instead, we went to Sears Landing for lunch. There are some new things there. They are serving breakfast and now have a full bar. But best of all (to me) one of my old friends is now a chef there. He's an awesome cook and I was glad to see him.
We ate at the bar and chatted with the bar manager, who was great. We had a fantastic meal and started out with some sort of sea food roll appetizers (I can't remember what they are called) that were out of this world.
Lots of families were there and all seemed to be having a good time.
We later had a cookout at home for supper to celebrate Father's Day.
I am not surprised that some of the evening dining establishments did not open early for Father's Day. Mother's Day is the busiest restaurant day of the year, Father's Day is way down on the list. Sorry dads. :)
