Also, Cosmos, the Forum and Alley Cats are all side by side, so no problem walking between them. There's a Howl at the Moon at the Epicenter too which would be fun for a B-Party - they always cater to that, and would put your friend on stage and have some fun w/ her. =) It's a dueling Piano Bar.

As mentioned before there is a new very cool, hip, place to be hotel downtown (Aloft) and the rates should be reasonable. Attached to it are a hots of new IT places, in particular SUITE (nightclub).

I am suer you and your friends can have a blast here. Every Wed-Sat it is boiling over with activity. Suite also has private suites that you could rent to host the party and then just barhop. Can't help you with the dancer, hope this helps though.
