Hi,

I will be in Morocco from 21st December to 1st January. I am planning on doing a multi day trek in the mountains.

I am not planning on hiring a guide- I have a reasonable level of experience trekking and with ice axe and crampons although I am a bit out of practice these days. I will be carrying all my own equipment including a tent.

At the moment I am going solo although if anyone else has similar plans and would like a companion I am open to suggestions?

So, where would people recommend I go? I hear the high Atlas are getting some unusual weather at the moment- should I go further South, or hire a guide over Mt Toubkal? Anyone with any experience of unguided trekking in the Atlas?
