Hi there!

We're looking for a relaxing vacation preferably nexto a beach location. Was looking into the Hilton Garden Inn, Indigo beach or Holiday Inn Express - if someone can tell me which one is the best. My main question is if we stay at one of these hotels, how far is it from the beach? Are the beaches public, are they jammed? We're looking for a quiet, beautiful beach! Would appreciate your input! THANKS!

You need to look at a map.

maps.google.com

All these hotels are on a major road with strip malls and shopping centers. If you don't mind a bay beach, some of the beaches of the North Fork are nearby.

But if you're looking for ocean beaches, Riverhead is really not a great place to stay. The Hampton Maid in Hampton Bays is an option on the south fork.

Also most if the bay and sound beaches require a parking permit.
