how to ferry from Santorini to Ephesus?

There seems to be nothing running from Paros to Samos in early May. The schedule shoud be out already. Don't know what to make of it. Any ideas?

Try looking at Mykonos to Samos, or Santorini to Kos and Kos to Samos.

The ferry to Samos stops at Mykonos, not Paros. Check the Hellenic Seaways website for current schedules. If you don't see anything for May that just means they haven't decided on this season's schedule yet. You can also see schedules here: http://www.gtp.gr

What's the chance of getting cheap flights to Izmir or Samos or anywhere close by?

The only confirmed schedule from the Cyclades to Samos in May seems to be from Syros: ANEK lines (AEGEON PELAGOS) Mon-Wed-Fri (23:10- 07:35)

"What's the chance of getting cheap flights to Izmir or Samos or anywhere close by?" If you mean from Paros, zero. You'll have to go back to Athens first. Check the Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air websites for flights to Samos and check the Turkish Airlines website for flights to Izmir. I'm not sure, but I think you might have to go to Istanbul first for a connecting flight.

If no ferry is added that connects Mykonos or Paros with Samos you can take a ferry from Paros to Syros to catch the one mentioned above.

The timetable is out 3 days a week Mon, Wed, Fri. Via Syros. May is still low season so it won't rev up yet, maybe in June.

The route has been run for around 30 years that I know of. It used to go through Paros/Naxos around 23:00 many years ago but in recent years the most likely has been Syros/Mykonos.

The time of 23:10 at Syros is not exactly a surprise.

So you go to Syros, and then a ferry to Samos(Vathy).

No use hoping for another from Paros/Naxos, maybe in June it will increase to 6 days a week and include Mykonos.

It's enough, is it not, and you should be able to get to Syros same day earlier on. Not only that but a 06:00/07:30 arrival in Vathy means you should catch the Kusadasi ferry. Now that is a fantastically slick connection.

There are alternatives like flying back to Athens then to Samos but then you may not get a same day ferry Samos > Kusadasi.

I'm assuming you're trying to get from Santorini to Samos, and only mentioned Paros because that's where you thought you could get a ferry from.

From Santorini, an alternative way of doing this journey, is to take the Blue Star Ferry from Santorini to Kos any Wed, Fri or Sun morning at 00:45, which arrives in Kos at 06:10. There is then a ferry every day from Kos to Samos at 14:30.

It's more complicated than I thought. Will need to put in more time to figure this one out. Thank you all.
