Four of us are driving from Detroit to Niagara Falls on Sunday, June 3rd and driving back late afternoon on Tuesday June 5. We are going to try to arrive around 2:00pm on Sunday. We are planning to stay one nite on the Canadian side - another on the US side - air force base. Presume Sunday would be better for Canadian side due to Fireworks. One person does not like to walk. Would like to do typical touristy things but also would like to go to Old Fort Niagara and Erie Canal - thinking of taking boat ride from Lockport unless there is another way to do something similar that takes less time or has more frequent or earlier schedules. We might also be interested in Niagara on the Lake. Seems that you cannot cross directly from Youngstown to Niagara on the Lake. What is the best way to time visiting of what attractions so that we get to see the most. Please include a suggestion or two for evening entertainment on the Canadian side.
