I am thinking of booking into the Best Western for 2 - 3 nights in November.Can anyone give me an idea what I might be letting us in for? Also we are flying into JFK so is it practical to think of staying on Long Island?

Just to clarify, this is the forum for Long Island City , which is a neighborhood in Queens.

Long Island is the acutal island itself, encompassing Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

I'd repost this on the New York City forum, too. It is busier.
