I'm having trouble deciding between visiting Chobe or Kruger in early September. In either case, I'd have about 4 days to visit. I'll be on my own and have never been on a safari. I don't want luxury, but also don't want self-driving.
Kruger seems a lot more easily accessible from Jo-burg than Chobe is from Gaborone (I'll be spending time in both of those cities), but if Chobe is much better I can get a flight to Kasane. What I'm really interested in is animal density; I'd rather not feel like we're spending the majority of the drives searching for animals, rather than actually seeing them.
